It is still summer on Plum Island and thousands will be flocking to Plumfest this Saturday, September 17th.  Please join me for original live music, great food & drinks and one of the best views in Essex County at the Plum Island Grille from 3:45-5:15 p.m while also supporting two great causes!

  • Every year PLUMFEST selects a cause for which to raise money.  While the festival is entirely free, you will see red donation buckets at each host home or business. This year funds will go to the Boys and Girls Club  of Lower Merrimack Valley and The Merrimack River Watershed Council.
  • The Boys and Girls Club is a wonderful organization offering programs to kids and teens in five Core areas:
    • Health and life skills
    • Character and leadership development
    • Education and career development
    • Sports, fitness, and recreation
    • The arts
  • Your donations today will enable the expansion of their MUSIC curriculum by adding instruction in
    • Recording technology
    • Studio engineering
    • Sound management.
  • While you are considering how much to donate, think about what you would spend in other avenues of entertainment—cover charges for live performances, pay-per-view streaming of live events, or concert/theater tickets.
  • Remember—this is going to a great cause!

I look forward to seeing you Saturday afternoon at the Plum Island Grille at 3:45!

Thank you,

Chris Hyde
